Embroidery Club is open to anyone who owns either a Bernina or Pfaff embroidery machine. All others who own embroidery machines are welcome, but must know how to load designs into their machine. All embroidery club members must own either a Magic Box Card, a USB stick compatible with the Bernina machines, or a Pfaff Smart card for the Pfaff machines. Others will need whatever device is necessary to transfer a design from computer to your embroidery machine.
Join Bonnie Jarzinski once a month to create a beautiful machine embroidered Baltimore Album quilt. These designs were developed by Elly Sienkiewiz for Bernina. Elly is well known for her hand appliquéd Baltimore Album quilts. A sample of the quilt is on display at the store. As your blocks are stitching, either Bonnie or I will demonstrate and/or discuss various aspects of sewing, e.g., tools, stabilizers, needles, how-to's, tips and tricks, etc. The class fee is $15.00 per month, and we require the first two months' payment at time of registration. At conclusion of these classes, you will receive your choice of either a card, USB stick or CD with all the designs.
Bonnie is offering these classes three times each month in hopes that anyone who wants to attend will find a time that is convenient for them. Class schedules are as follows:
First Wednesday of every month beginning February 6: 10:00 a.m.--11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.--8:00 p.m. Saturday following the first Wednesday (not always the first Saturday) beginning February 9: 1:00 p.m.--2:30 p.m.
